Philip-Lorca DiCorcia is the photographer I chose.
Picture
The Adjectives to describe this photo:
                                  -Emotionally Expressive
                                   -Simple, but powerful
                                      -story-telling

I chose this photographer and photo because all of his photos
are seemingly simple, but if you examine them, there's always a deeper meaning. All his images convey the emotion of life (especially the rough patches) through his actors and props.

THE IDEA!

For my Self-portrait assignment, I plan to include different portrait shots of me at different ages and parts in my life. I will most likely include images and words that describe my personality, as well as my interest. I will also include some of my favorite quotes, just to give an input of my life. I started by asking myself, "who am I".
